We already knew that Serge Becker and Josh Pickard are keen on expanding Melvin’s Juice Box to other parts of Manhattan, and it’s looking a lot like Melvin Major Jr.’s energizing, cold-pressed cleanses and whatnot may next open in the East Village. EV Grieve hears from three different sources that the juice bar, along with a new outpost of Miss Lily’s, will open in the old 7A space, somehow keeping part of the former restaurant’s name. The round-the-clock diner closed in January. Update: Eater finds out that while Pickard and Becker are not partners at the new 7A, the forthcoming restaurant will have “elements of Melvin’s Juice Box and Miss Lily’s.” [EV Grieve, Earlier]
