The Daily Show kicked off last night with a segment on the farm bill that President Obama signed last month, one result of which is an $8 billion cut in food-stamp funding. As you might imagine, those in favor of cutting the program provide quite a bit of fodder for Stewart, including the many people who criticize aid recipients who use the program to buy such preposterous things as seafood, “the Mercedes of food.” Watch the clips, straight ahead.
