Angling possibly to be the premier destination for Wild West Method actors, Georgia has passed a bill that lets individuals bring guns into bars. Seems risky? Lawmakers handled that — armed bar patrons can’t drink, though the Times notes it’s sort of unclear “how that caveat would be enforced.” The governor’s expected to sign it into law even though nearly everybody says please don’t — the state’s restaurant and police-chiefs associations, the Catholic Church, the federal TSA, and even 70 percent of otherwise gun-lovin’ Georgians.
