• Japan Week, the multi-day festival that runs from March 6 through 8 at Grand Central’s Vanderbilt Hall will feature a 100-year-old Taisho-themed bar featuring exclusive sake from various regions of Japan, an amezaiku (traditional folk art involving sculpting taffy into shapes like rabbits and turtles) event, and, of course, a mochi-pounding ceremony.
