Suba and Boqueira restaurateur Yann de Rochefort opened his so-called “Spanish brasserie” Manzanilla in February of 2013 with two-Michelin-starred chef Dani García in the kitchen. Despite the impressive pedigree and modernist-leaning menu devised by García’s protégé Santiago Guerrero, the ambitious restaurant did not fare so well with critics, earning one star from Pete Wells at the Times and no stars from New York’s own Adam Platt. Reps send word that the restaurant is closing after service tonight, but as a farewell gesture it will offer its full dinner menu and 50 percent off its wine list. Go drink some sherry, and also pour one out. [Related]
