World-famous Flatbush Avenue—based cheesecake purveyor Junior’s will temporarily shut down operations sometime in the near future in order to accommodate demolition and construction of new condos being built above the restaurant. Owner Alan Rosen, who debuted the upscale spin-off Enduro at the end of last summer in Manhattan, tells the Post that he’ll take the construction-related opportunity to open … wait for it … a second Brooklyn-based Junior’s. Rosen says Junior’s No. 2 will help to close the cheesecake gap in the interim, but that it will remain open after the condos are finished. “I think there’s room for two Junior’s in Brooklyn,” he says.
