Neighbors had already filed a lawsuit to prevent a Denny’s from opening altogether in a luxury condo building across the street from City Hall, so you can probably imagine there was also some opposition to the chain’s bid for a full liquor license. Denny’s won unanimous support for plan to serve beer and cocktails last night, however, after making a concession to the neighborhood: Its bar will be open from 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays, noon to midnight on Sundays, and 10 a.m. to midnight all other days of the week.
