Police say a 21-year-old Indianapolis man broke into the Indiana Medical History Museum last fall and pilfered a bunch of brains and brain segments in jars, which workers estimate had a street value of $4,800. “Yo,” the alleged brain thief posted on Facebook, in plain sight, “I got a bunch of human brains in jars for sale hmu for details u know u want one for Halloween.” Later again, and stupidly on Facebook, he posted, “Better hurry and buy one someone had to die in order for you to get this is once in a lifetime deal better hit me up.” He eventually arranged to meet prospective buyers at the local Dairy Queen, because that’s where you go when you’re trying to unload hot brains. The buyers turned out to be cops, alas, and the man was arrested with some weed, a pipe, and six jars of gray matter. [Fox 59 via CNN]
