A tractor-trailer carrying 40,000 pounds of ham overturned on a highway in Atlanta, spilling meat all over the road and shutting down the exit ramp for hours. The truck’s cab was destroyed during the accident, but the driver made it out unscathed. “I just banged my head against the door when [the truck] flipped over, and kind of cut it,” he tells the Atlanta Journal Constitution. All you snackish types ready to bolt out the door headed for Georgia with garbage bags filled with baguettes and industrial-size squeeze-bottle mustard will be sad to learn that the cold cuts (unfortunately) got mixed up with diesel fuel during the incident.
