After seven years of providing coffee, snacks, and pastries to Park Slope neighbors on a particularly sleepy stretch of Sixth Avenue, the beloved Red Horse Café closed permanently over the weekend, Here’s Park Slope notes. Owners Carolina and Brent Whitson posted a note on the door thanking customers for all the business, writing, “The horse has finally been set free.” [Here’s Park Slope]
