There are rumors that all four locations of Union Jacks, which offers pizzas topped with British salami, English mustard, and Lincolnshire poacher cheese, will shutter. Jamie Oliver’s spokesman cryptically said, “We are exploring various options with regard to Union Jacks,” but an assistant manager called the report “rubbish.” It was only two months ago that Oliver announced, “As cocky as I am in the U.K., I’m just a little bit frightened in the U.S.” [Hampshire Chronicle, Earlier]
