The Farm ’s Kickstarter; Talde ’s Typhoon Haiyan Relief Event

• To help raise money for the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan, Dale Talde will host a tasting and party on Wednesday, December 4 from 7 until 10 p.m. The event, which will be held at the Green Building in Brooklyn, will also feature dishes from other New York restaurants. [Grub Street]

El Toro Blanco will hosts Tequila Tuesdays from 5 until 8 p.m. starting November 26, with margaritas for $8 and $12 and flights for $15. In more weekday drinking news, Burger & Barrel Winepub will host Wine Wednesdays from 6 p.m. until close starting on November 27. [Grub Street]

• The newly opened Ground Central Coffee Company in Midtown East serves up a range of artisanal coffees, including a special blend from La Colombe, alongside sandwiches and pastry from the likes of Blue Sky and Mille-feuille. [Grub Street]

• The Whole Foods in Gowanus will officially open its doors on December 17. The store will feature a rooftop greenhouse, a restaurant named The Roof, and an in-store take-out venue from Yuji Hariguchi, the man behind Yuji Ramen. [Grub Street]

• Eli and Max Sussman will host a dinner at Mile End Deli on November 25 in celebration of their new cookbook, Best Cookbook Ever. The dinner, which has seatings at 7 and 9:30 p.m., will showcase recipes from the book, like rosemary lamb shanks and cod fritters. Tickets include a copy of the book and are $65 per person.
