Early next year, former Yardbird chef Jeff McInnis and recently eliminated Top Chef season-eleven contestant Janine Booth will launch Root & Bone in the East Village. But in the meantime, Grub hears that they’re testing the menu and building hype over the course of four evenings at the Brew Inn, a brand-new gastropub in Greenpoint. On November 15, 16, 22, and 23, at 7:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., McInnis and Booth will serve a nine-course menu of dishes like shrimp and grits, Australian rack of lamb, and a house-made charcuterie board that includes a spicy goat “Slim Jim.” Tickets cost $65 (beer pairings are included) and are available here.
