In an Associated Press profile that suggests Michael White approaches his restaurant portfolio just “like a Roman emperor,” the Marea chef, who in August opened across the pond in London, hints that he may someday soon open an Italian restaurant in Italy (where, it should be noted, the Bastianich family also recently opened their first Italian restaurant property in the motherland). “I think we’d be embraced,” says White.
