An Upper East Side dad is suing a court-appointed psychiatrist after she testified in a child custody case that his refusal to treat his 4-year old to McDonald’s was an example of unfit parenting. Last week, dad David Schorr apparently gave his son a pretty fair-sounding ultimatum: Choose any restaurant in the entire city except McDonald’s, or no dinner at all. The son chose no dinner, likely knowing perfectly well that his mom would take him out for a Happy Meal as soon as he got home. Smart kid. The psychiatrist who originally said in court that Schorr was “wholly incapable of taking care of his son” now tells the Post she is “conducting a forensic evaluation” on the matter. [NYP]
