Congratulations, Jon Lovitch, on building the world’s largest gingerbread creation: a village with 164 structures that weighs a whopping 1.5 tons. Since February, he’s made each and every single piece in his small South Bronx apartment, and now, it’s on display at the New York Hall of Science in Queens. Although it’ll be disassembled after the holiday season, Lovitch is already hard at work on his second masterpiece. [NYT]
