Partners John Bush, David Massoni, and Dale Talde have teamed up with Garden State guys Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri to open new projects Talde Jersey City and Carrino Provisions in adjoining Jersey City spaces. Carrino and Colaneri, who are cousins perhaps most widely known for their HGTV shows, will lead the market and restaurant part of things, while the Brooklyn-based chef will open the second outpost of the contemporary restaurant, where he’s been working full-time since last year trying “to take the dirty word out of fusion.” The restaurateurs, who also own Thistle Hill Tavern and Pork Slope, hope to open the new projects at 8 Erie Street, an old New York and New Jersey Telephone Company switching station, by the fall of 2014.
