It’s been a couple of weeks since Joe Isidori and Bruce Buschel’s Arthur on Smith shuttered, and the word on Smith Street is that the contemporary Italian restaurant is being replaced with something Mexican. From the looks of this liquor-license application, the space at 276 Smith Street will next be an outpost of South Street Seaport staple Mad Dog & Beans Mexican Cantina.
