Over the weekend, overachieving celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay finished up his first Ironman World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, in just over fourteen hours, an impressive feat for sure, but still an hour and a half longer than it took his MasterChef co-host Joe Bastianich back in 2011. The triathlon is notoriously grueling, and the title is certainly one of the more pristine jewels in the crown of Ramsay’s various accomplishments. Ramsay says he’ll be back next year.
