Our friends over at Bedford + Bowery have the first look at Bread for the Eater, the new Greenpoint café opened by Din Yates of Cheeky Sandwiches on the Lower East Side. Po’ boys aren’t on the menu, but egg sandwiches and short ribs on challah bread are, and the all-day space includes a mysterious back area known as the “Gold Room,” where Yates will serve a separate menu, the details of which he’s keeping under wraps for now.
