
First we get the magic soufflé, and now there’s this: Newly opened Dolce Gelateria on Barrow is offering “Spaghettieis”: vanilla gelato strained through a pasta-maker and topped with “marinara sauce” (fruit compote) and “meatballs” (scoops of chocolate gelato on the side). Apparently, these sundaes are big in Germany, but it remains to be seen if they’ll catch on here in New York.
