When the anticipated “Third & 3rd” Whole Foods Market opens in Gowanus this fall, there will not only be a lush, leafy-green-producing rooftop garden, but the store’s bakery menu will sell three desserts devised by chefs-restaurateurs Frank Falcinelli and Frank Castronovo: banana cream pie, coconut cream pie, and ricotta cheesecake. The baked goods will be the first marketed under the Frankies Spuntino name, and they’ll be available whole and by the slice exclusively at the chain’s Gowanus location. [W.F.
