Drake’s cakes are coming back. The brand, which was dismantled as a result of the Hostess debacle before being bought by Little Debbie’s manufacturer McKee Foods, announced on Facebook (and in a press release) that they’ll resume selling their four most famous snack cakes — Yodels, Devil Dogs, Coffee Cakes, and Ring Dings — on Monday, September 23. The timing is right in line with the “early fall” timeline McKee first estimated back in June. While not as momentous as the return of Twinkies, surely some people will be happy to have Drake’s cakes back, right? [Facebook via Consumerist, Earlier]
