There’s barely enough room in LES Crêpes for someone to stand and order food — let alone pee — but the city’s Health Department still closed down the tiny, six-week-old café for not having a bathroom for its employees. Co-owner Oli Balasa is claiming that the Health Department gave her “the green light verbally” to allow her workers to use the bathroom at a neighboring business, but of course that’s meaningless now. She aims to reopen the crêperie next week with an “airplane-like” toilet, which is really a shame, because now there’s less room for Nutella. [DNAinfo]
