Northern Spy’s ‘Eat Your Veggies’ Dinner; Self-Serve Keg at Fatty ’Cue

Fatty ’Cue Brooklyn is continuing its Smoked Out Sunday event over Labor Day weekend with a self-serve keg, “kitchen sink” punch, brisket tacos, and a whole fresh pig with all the fixings. The party starts at 12 p.m., and tickets are $35 per person. And on Monday, September 2, the restaurant will offer a sneak peek of its new brunch menu, which they’ll serve from 12 p.m. all the way until 9 p.m. [Grub Street]

• Advance tickets for the fourth annual TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint are now on sale. The waterfront tasting will take place at the East River State Park on Sunday, September 22, with vendors including Brooklyn Brewery, Bruce Cost Ginger Ale, McClure’s Pickles, the Natural Wine Company, the Meatball Shop, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, and more. Tickets are $25 for four food tastes and two drink tastes, and $45 for eight food tastes and four drink tastes. [Grub Street]

• The new Tribeca eatery Distilled will be open for brunch starting this Saturday, August 24, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Chef Shane Lyon’s menu includes a tuna melt on sourdough bread with heirloom tomatoes, biscuits and red gravy, and country-fried duck and waffles. [Grub Street]
