The government of Brazil has released a statement informing the public it has banned “all sales, distribution, and marketing” of a batch of Mexico-made Heinz ketchup that was found to contain traces of rodent fur. Can anyone really think of a good way to market rodent-fur ketchup? Just asking, because we can probably come up with some ideas. Also, if it hasn’t yet been made completely clear, today’s unofficial Grub Street theme is hot dogs and hamburgers with a side of ick, and in general we’re just hoping the workday ends before we find out that something disgusting happened to mustard.
