As punishment for Chris Brown and Drake’s June 2012 brawl, which left eight people injured, an appeals court has ordered the connecting clubs to temporarily shut down. The club owners will have to pay a $10,000 fine, too. This is a relatively lenient penalty: The State Liquor Authority wanted to permanently revoke Greenhouse and W.i.P.’s liquor licenses. The clubs will go dark from September 1 to 10 — which is hopefully enough time to make them unpopular and irrelevant. [Earlier, NYP]
