Restaurant operator Jack in the Box is closing 10 percent of Qdoba locations owning to underperformance, which means that 67 outposts will shutter by Sept. 29. But that doesn’t mean that Qdoba’s going to totally disappear: Jack in the Box aims to replace the closing locations with 60 to 70 new Qdoba outposts in different areas in 2014. (A smart move would be to open them near House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy.) Between tofu burritos and staged Twitter hacks, Chipotle’s doing something right. [Earlier, Forbes]
