Publishers Marketplace (subscription required) reports that lobster-roll entrepreneurs Luke Holden and Ben Conniff have signed a deal to write their first cookbook. Maine native Holden, who sources lobster from his father’s company in Maine, is a supporter of Portland-area food culture, and Conniff tells Grub Street the book will feature the “best recipes from the chefs, home cooks, farmers, brewers, and others who make fantastic food from the state’s local bounty.” That’s in addition to recipes served at Luke’s Lobster shops and on its Nauti Mobile — basically, the prospect of homemade lobster grilled cheese sandwiches just got that much more real. The Luke’s Lobster Cookbook: Real Food from the Heart of Maine will be published in 2015 by Rizzoli. [Publishers Marketplace, Related]
