In September, the role model British chef will join the ranks of Muppet Babies, the Snorks, and of course, the entire Lazer Tag Academy when he debuts Jamie Oliver’s 15 Minute Meals, a half-hour long CBS show devoted to all things cooked that are “fast, fun and most of all flavorful.” The Wrap reports that Oliver’s new show, which perhaps sadly won’t be animated, will run alongside another called Recipe Rescue, a chef-against-chef showdown-style attempt to find out who can muster a full meal with the least amount of calories. Fun! The two shows are part of six overall that will begin airing on September 28 with “uplifting” and”pro-social” content geared toward viewers between the ages of 13 and 16, the site reports. All of this is fine, really, so long as no one asks Fat Albert to lose any weight. [The Wrap/Yahoo via The Braiser]
