The magazine announced this afternoon that food writer Daniel S. Meyer has replaced Jay Cheshes, who abdicated the role of Time Out critic in April after five years on the job. First things first: He’s no relation to the Gramercy Tavern and Shake Shack restaurateur, but he probably gets that a lot. What do we know for sure? It appears as though he’s written for Serious Eats and worked previously as an assistant to Mark Bittman. He’s on Twitter, and his first review, which happens to be for Kajitsu, is right here.
