A roster of high-end talent from around the world will soon be drawn to the Brooklyn waterfront to take on free-form residencies at Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli’s new Red Hook project the Res, which is dedicated to giving out-of-town chefs an open-ended space for “collaborative dinners, one-off events, and installations.” Up first, however, the Franks are lighting up the barbecue on weekends during the summer and offering a limited menu of grilled meats and cold drinks. Tomorrow, it’s house-made sausages and “garden punch” from 3 p.m. onward, and then Sunday it’s Le Goûter, which means the inclusion of music and tacos. [Res, Earlier]
