Another pastry-chef shuffle: The Times reports that Karen Demasco is leaving Locanda Verde this week, and she’ll be replaced by Nancy Tran. Demasco’s been the force behind Locanda’s stellar sweets since 2009 — and that includes the marvelous marble counter of cakes, sticky buns, and blueberry polenta muffins. [NYT]
