Following the strong and noble efforts of Ford’s Filling Station chef Gavin Lansdale at Cochon 555 earlier this month, the restaurant plans to commemorate Memorial Day with a massive pig roast and barbecue on its Culver City patio. To kick summer off in high-style, Landsdale and chef-owner Ben Ford will use a whole hog and a smoker for a $28 menu that offers two choices of meat and two sides, along with three-dollar beers. Meats include pork ribs, beer-braised Mattinata sausage, beef brisket, and chicken, along with sides like mac and cheese with Fresno chiles and ham hocks, corn on the cob, and marinated heirloom tomatoes. The full $28 menu is below for your consideration, while reservations can be secured at 310-202-1470, though walk-ins will also be welcome.
