Chicago may be smack in the middle of the restaurant show this weekend, but that doesn’t mean civilians can’t go out too— there are plenty of cool events all over town, and one of them will be a special dinner with Maneet Chauhan, star of Chopped and former chef of Vermilion in New York and Chicago, who has a new book out, Flavors of My World: A Culinary Tour Through 25 Countries. It’s $90, and includes a three-course dinner from Untitled chef Joe Heppe, specialty cocktails, a meet and greet with Chef Chauhan and a signed copy of her book. It’s Sunday, May 19 beginning at 7:00 p.m.; reservations are required and to be had at 312-880-1501.
