East Bay bicyclists should all be aware that Trumer Pils (1404 Fourth Street, Berkeley) will be doing an event with the East Bay Bicycle Coalition on May 24 that features a brewery tour, food trucks, plenty of beer, and a screening of Premium Rush, the 2012 movie about bike messengers in New York City starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The event is just $5 to attend, with beer and food available for purchase (and free popcorn). Everyone is encouraged to bike in, bring chairs, and chill out in the courtyard. And bring an FM radio, because like an old-timey drive-in, that’s how you’ll be able to hear the movie. The doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 9.
