Reps for the Smile announce that Melia Marden, Matt Kliegman, and Carlos Quirarte are headed out to the East End of Long Island for the summer and will operate Ruschmeyer’s on Fort Pond. Daniel vet Brian Loiacono’s menu will focus on local produce and Montauk seafood, so expect a lot of fluke and sweet corn in August. Though oats may not be ultralocal, given the new operators’ collective pedigree, here’s hoping you’ll also be able to get some of that stellar granola. [Earlier]
