American hamburgers may seem scarily indestructible, but some Japanese burgers are downright frightening to begin with. Take the new “Menya Musashi Ramen Burger” at Japanese chain Lotteria, whose chefs have teamed up with ramenya chain Menya Musashi in pursuit of the alarming sodium bomb seen here. It features a ramen patty that looks like a hairnet made from rice cakes and is topped with barbecued pork, special sauce, and mayo, which should make those noodles nice and supple. To wash it down, Lotteria helpfully offers a bonito-flavored soup.

Luckily, it’s only available until mid-June, because this kind of thing typically proves lethal in the long-term. For movie fans with big appetites, the chain also offers a nine-patty-high cheeseburger created to promote the DVD & Blu-Ray release of the Evangelion: Q anime. That one even comes with a large collectible spear, which does double-duty as a utensil and a weapon! The ramen burger debuts on May 20, so book those plane tickets now.
