Where do you get great Indian food on Haight? Well, soon, if their name is to be believed, the answer will be Great Indian Food (1793 Haight Street). The restaurant in the former Kan Zaman space just got their beer and wine license, and Uppercasing snapped a photo of this basic menu up in the window, with rotis and thalis and just a few options, along the lines of Kasa. Oh, but there’s pork on there, which suggests that this food will be Goan, or influenced by the cuisines of eastern India. No opening date has been announced yet.
