The Gowanus Yacht Club’s New Team; Back Forty’s Weekly Crab Boil Returns

• Mary Gibbons, co-owner of the Bearded Lady in Prospect Heights, is running the Gowanus Yacht Club this summer with a team that includes chefs Joe Aponte (Littleneck, the Pines) and Jason Talley (Prime Meats, Buschenschanck), and mixologist Brad Farran (Clover Club). [Grub Street]

• In anticipation of its Grub Crawl-NYC, Bon Appétit is collaborating with Coolhaus Ice Cream Truck to give away free ice-cream sandwiches tomorrow. Watch out for the different stops (Bon Appétit and Cool Haus will be tweeting the locations from 1 to 6 p.m.). [Grub Street]

• Starting June 4, Back Forty is launching the sixth installment of its Chesapeake Crab Boils on Tuesday nights, which will last until August. The Lion is launching a new summer brunch menu, priced at $25. The menu includes entrees like a pulled barbecue pork sandwich and fried oyster po’ boys. It’s only available on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and there will be live music. [Grub Street]

The Cleveland is now serving weekday breakfast starting at 9 a.m. The menu also includes new additions like Eggs Florentine. [Grub Street]
