Beloved TenderNob caffienation spot Farm:Table (754 Post Street) — which for a time ca. 2010 was the highest rated restaurant in the city on Yelp — has changed hands and is temporarily closed for the changeover. As Eater reports, owner Shannon Amitin has sold the business to a couple from Duluth, Minnesota who’ve had a longstanding dream to own a café in San Francisco. Tom Benson and Wendy Rouse inherit the tiny space, along with its loyal clientele and the most ambitiously designed parklet in the city, completed last year. We’ll update you when we see what their menu will look like, but you should also be able to find it here when they reopen tomorrow. As for Amitin, he says he’ll be working on a new project after he returns from a trek through Spain. [Eater]
