Two well-regarded restaurants have served their last half-shell oyster and sliced coppa, respectively: The five-year-old Cornelius in Prospect Heights, long home to Brooklyn’s finest happy-hour oysters, closed sometime in the past week. Its contents will be auctioned today. Meanwhile, three-year-old Soho panini and espresso shop Salumè has gone dark. A note in its front window indicates the restaurant has been seized by the City Marshal’s office.
