Ordinarily an aperitivo is a small, informal hang hosted by bars and restaurants in Italy where buffets of small, almost tapas-like bites are served for free, and drinks poured at full price. But since Bufad, the still newish pizzeria in the Eraserhood is a BYOB, they’re doing the opposite on Sunday. From 8 p.m. to closing, they will offer an all you can eat spread of antipasti (beets, carrots, pickled fennel, roasted olives and more) chicken liver pate on crostone, a large selection of Roman pizzas by the slice, and roast pork for $10. All they ask of you is to bring along an aperitif to share, an appetite, and a willingness to gab with neighbors, friends and strangers. With the food, Bufad will also have non-alcoholic mixers available.
