Eater reports that Bubby’s is headed to the old MPD space on Gansevoort Street and will open — outdoor seating and takeout shop and all — in “early September.” The restaurant has two locations in Japan. Its new meatpacking district location will presumably replace its ill-fated Dumbo location, which closed last October after its landlord allegedly jacked up the rent. [Eater NY, Earlier, Related]
