After a very official investigation, the Post is reporting that nine out of fifteen bars in the East Village, West Village, and Williamsburg are serving “pints” of beers in twelve- and fourteen-ounce glasses — not the standard sixteen ounces. The damned establishments include Village Pourhouse, the Sixth Ward, 3 Sheets Saloon, Blind Tiger, Vbar St. Marks, and No Fun. You’re probably too drunk to ever notice the difference, but if this issue deeply concerns you, avoid being that asshole who brings a measuring cup into a bar. Instead, look for glasses branded with logos. [NYP]
