In their quest for citywide neighborhood-bar domination, Bullitt/Tonic/Mayhem partners Ben Bleiman and Duncan Ley have just unveiled their latest project, Wild Hare, in the former Solstice space at Green and Divis and in partnership with Mark DeVito. We broke the news of the place a couple months back, and Thrillist has grabbed some photos of the remodel. There’s “a full pub-fare menu” including a burger that comes sandwiched between two grilled-cheese sandwiches. The decor is themed around Alice in Wonderland, with rabbit taxidermy, Mad Hatter dishware, and some Queen of Hearts artwork. They debuted Wednesday, and they’ll be open today as of 4 p.m., so you can check it out yourself. Sidebar: Let’s not forget that this bar empire has another project coming in the bar currently known as Yong San Lounge, bringing their total property count to eight. More on that to come.
