For the second consecutive year, Wilshire chef Nyesha Arrington is opening her kitchen to six of her fellow Top Chef-testants for a tasting event in support of Share Our Strength’s “Taste of the Nation” fundraiser to end childhood hunger in the U.S. Brooke Williamson, Ilan Hall, CJ Jacobson, Alex Reznik, Danielle Keene, and Micah Fields will all join Arrington over a full butchered hog, each creating dishes of their own using the pig’s various parts. Pour Vous barman Devon Espinosa will bolster this barbecue with “Trashcan Punch,” while Firestone, Bockor Brewery, and Big Sky Brewing will provide the draft beer. Tickets for the three hour event are priced at $55 advance ($65 at the door) and will allow access discounted tickets for Taste of the Nation’s June 9 event in Culver City.
