The Spotted Pig’s Filipino Menu; Ramp Fest Hudson 2013

The Spotted Pig will host Filipino night on Monday, April 15. April Bloomfield’s sous-chef Edie Ugot will celebrate her heritage with a menu that includes sizzling sisig with fried egg, Kare-Kare oxtail stew, and lumpia. Tables are first come, first served. [Grub Street]

• On Monday, April 8 at 11 p.m., Willow Road is hosting a Low Country Crawfish Boil with guest chef Jason Hua from the Dutch’. • Calling all ramp fanatics: Ramp Fest Hudson 2013 is on May 4 at Basilica Hudson. Experience the ramp as interpreted by the likes of the Farm on Adderly, Sfoglia, and Gallow Green. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. [Grub Street]

• More food at Citi Field: El Verano Cantina is selling frozen cocktails, and there are new offerings from Blue Smoke On the Road, such as a beef-brisket sandwich. [Grub Street]

• St. Louis chefs Kevin Nashan and Gerard Craft are bringing their Midwest expertise to City Grit. Their six-course meal will be served on Thursday, May 2. [Grub Street]
