Here’s the Sober Performer Who Raps in Bars About Alcoholism

Somehow, local establishments allow rapper Timmy Grins to preach to drunk, paying customers about the dangers of drinking. His four-minute performance piece Last Call sure is poignant and powerful, albeit buzz-killing. Grins, who lives in Williamsburg, has already completed a bar marathon in New Jersey, and he’s looking to break out in New York. Oprah’s previously professed her love for him, so he should be fine. “I’m not against drinking; people should just check themselves,” he says. Regardless of your relationship with alcohol, he’ll provide a noble service in helping you spend less on cocktails. Watch his video, ahead.
