Breaking news in from El Segundo, where an executive is being held hostage by an armed female at the corporate headquarters of Popcornopolis on East El Segundo Blvd. Police sources say the woman walked into the building shortly after 8:00 A.M. this morning and made everyone leave except the store’s CFO. ABC reports that the suspect is currently holding the executive hostage though demands were yet to be made by the time the network’s story went to print. Police have cleared the building and are advising drivers to avoid the area. Update: The suspect was successfully arrested after releasing the male hostage and surrendering to police around 11:30 this morning. [KABC]
